- Your Internet address
depends on the account you choose/chose. If you choose/chose our Basic Web
Service, you have a choice of addresses: http://www.elitehost.com/yourname, or
http://yourname.elitehost.com. If you choose/chose any other account, you
Internet address would be: http://www.yourname.com. "yourname"
represents the name you have chosen for your account. Name selection is done
during your Signup.

do I upload files to my web space?- Upload your files using
File Transfer Protocol (FTP). You can find uploading instructions and FTP

What is a Virtual Domain?- Having a Virtual
Domain means having your own domain
(www.yourname.com) without having to install expensive server hardware and
software. With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space,
however, you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet
web address domain name (www.yourname.com) and by your own personal e-mail
address domain name (you@yourname.com).

I can't find information about "dial-up" Internet
access!?- Don't drive yourself
batty looking for any, because we do not offer it. Elite Host prides itself in
offing the highest quality website hosting. Most Internet Service Providers
(ISP's) that offer both dial-up Internet access and web hosting usually end up
cheating their web hosting customers of valuable Internet "bandwidth."
Most Internet Service Providers have a predominantly higher amount of dial-up
customers than they do web hosting customers. This tends to tie up the ISP's
Internet connections, thus slowing down the access to their web hosting
customers' websites.
